If you're ordering more than a couple of DTF transfers, a gang sheet is the cheapest way to print. Here's what a gang sheet is, why it saves money, and how to build one that prints perfectly.
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is one large sheet of film with multiple designs "ganged" together. Instead of paying per individual transfer, you pay for the sheet space — so the more you fit on, the lower your cost per print. You then cut the transfers apart and press them as needed.
Why gang sheets save you money
DTF is priced largely by film area, so empty space is wasted money. Packing your designs tightly — mixing sizes, repeating best-sellers, or combining different jobs onto one sheet — squeezes the most value out of every metre.
File requirements
- Upload PNG files with a transparent background.
- Artwork should be 300 DPI at print size for crisp results.
- Keep fine lines and text at least 1 mm thick so they print cleanly.
- You don't need to mirror your artwork — we handle that.
How to build your gang sheet (step by step)
- Open the gang sheet builder and choose your sheet size.
- Upload your PNG designs.
- Drag, resize and arrange them — fill the sheet to maximise value.
- Double-check sizing (see below), then add to cart and check out.
Handy print sizes
- Left chest logo: about 8–10 cm wide
- Adult front or back print: about 25–30 cm wide
- Pocket or sleeve: about 5–8 cm wide
Common mistakes to avoid
- Low-resolution artwork — anything under 300 DPI will look fuzzy.
- A coloured or white background instead of a transparent one.
- Leaving big gaps — you're paying for that space.
